A major accomplishment I did was be a major role in the Enlightment. I changed goverment during the enlightment. Actually I was one of the people who changed goverment. The only reason why I went into goverment because I was friend of the 1st earl of shaftebury. I also spread this government ideas by writing different documents. In 1690 I wrote 1 document "Essay Concerning Human Understanding" . This was one major job because I finally sent out my message throughtout all over the world. It was also important because I was able to translate my work so others could read it. The Essay was written by me to show that there is no innate ideas and that is what I wrote to people to understand. Everything as in ideas, conclusions and what we think come from our senses and our primary experience. That is why this accomplishment was so important to me.

The Enlightment which changed the peoples ideas and their thoughts in England. We, as in me, Thomas Hobbes, Maria mitchell and our friends were able to make it happen. The Enlightment was in then 1700's. The Enlightment was when people started putting their ideas through art, plays and skits. I caused this Revolution where minds change. If I didnt caused this revolution people would still not have freedom. Since ideas were opening people were questioning about different ideas. Like why is there goverment? or why would different events happen. Enlightment was important to me because I enforce it.

I am John, locke. I was born 1632-1704 in England. I am a english philosopher and the founder of the British Empiricism. Which Empiricism is a theory of knowledge. So the question that everybody ask me since I study Empirisicm is how do we know what we know? Well the answer is you know what you know by your senses and what you experience. I studied at Christ church college, oxford. In 1660 I became a lecturer in greek, rhetoric and philosophy. I studied medicine. In 1666 I met Anthony Ashley Cooper, which later became the 1st earl of shaftesbury. She was also my friend. In around 1679 I retired to oxford where I stayed, until suspected of radicalism. I then went to Holland and remained there from 1683-89. My fame increased over the years since I was in the Enlightment, then became known in england. I changed way people lived and think, but unfortunaly I died in 1704.
